Sacramento and Turkey!

I know after the Palm Beach show, I was all set to indulge, relax and enjoy some time off.....BUT then I thought to myself, "Aww heck...I've been dieting for most of the year - what's another three weeks?" So I decided to fly all the way accross the country to compete in the Sacramento Pro Figure event. That flight is such a drag...thank goodness for ambien! Anyhow, I have now officially finished off the 2006 season with TWO top five finishes! Yaay!

The show itself, promoted by John Tuman, was really great, with a good mix of seasoned veterans and rookies. Everybody was very friendly and supportive of each other. Fellow GNC Pro Performance athlete, Gina Camacho, won the show and looked spectacular. Valerie Waugaman placed second, fellow Floridian, Danielle Hollenshade third, Andrea Dumon fourth, and I rounded out the top five in fifth. I am proud to be in such good company!

Well, that was four weeks ago. Thanksgiving has come and gone, and I've finally got a little bit of food in my belly. Well, make that a lot! I hope eveybody enjoyed their turkey feast as much as I did. It really is nice to relax for awhile and be able to focus on other things outside of competing.
